Business Development Expert. Spa enthusiast. Serial Entrepreneur. Founder of Engage! Consulting, and Lee Travel Group Worked at BT, Pepsi-Cola, Duracell. Sold to American Airlines, Travelocity, JC Penney, FW Woolworth, Orbitz, Blue Cross, Oppenheimer Funds, Penton Media, Jehovah's Witness, AT&T, Nortel, American Express Travel, Pegasus Solutions and many, many more. Strategic, yet loves the game of execution. Raised $38M for two organizations.

Peggy Lee has provided vision and strategy within the travel and meetings industry to multiple start-up organizations.  Her entrepreneurial and innovative style h as led to repeated successes in travel, meetings and the consumer products industries.  As a Senior Executive, Peggy has strong general management, marketing, sales, business development, and system design and project management skills. Her deep industry knowledge of the travel and hospitality services industry, have allowed her to sell solutions and services to multiple industry verticals, including financial services, insurance, technology, medical/pharmaceutical and consumer products. 

As Founder and Former Chairman & CEO, Peggy is the developer and architect of b-there’s enterprise software system (ERS), which in early 1997 became the first real-time online registration and housing management system. Since launching b-there in early 1999, her ERS system has evolved into the premier Internet attendee management tool for the meeting and convention industries, servicing such customers as AT&T, Nortel Networks, American Express Travel, PGI, the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Ernst & Young and Proctor & Gamble.
Prior to b-there, Peggy’s background in the travel industry includes founding and building a leading group/meeting, business transient, and leisure travel organization. Having built a traditional travel service organization with an early online presence, she has a unique understanding of the balance of the use of technology as enabler, supported by a traditional service organization.
Peggy has extensive e-Commerce experience in the business-to-business sector, and directed the first application of her online technology system for a business-to-consumer site.  Peggy has strong operational knowledge of online booking engines, packaging, GDS, CRS, customer care and fulfillment requirements for e-commerce applications and sites. 

Prior to entering the travel industry, she spent twelve years in corporate business development and sales management positions at Duracell and PepsiCo. She is a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International, ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives), IAEM (International Association of Exhibition Managers), Women in Technology, ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) and the OTA (Open Travel Alliance).  She is former member of the Technology Advisory Board of APEX for the Convention Industry Council and Advisory Board for TravelCom. 

Peggy Lee was selected one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Meeting Industry in 2000 by Meeting News, which described Peggy as "an early pioneer in online meeting planning” and is a frequent speaker at travel and meetings industry events.

Kenneth Shewitz

Ken Shewitz, provides leadership to SpaGypsies that is based upon an impressive background.  Mr. Shewitz is a former management consultant with extensive background in corporate operations, finance, administration and human resources. Ken began his career at Ernst & Young and then was recruited by Booz Allan & Hamilton, management consultants. He then transitioned into publishing at Sawyer Ferguson Walker, a leading newspaper ad rep and media consulting firm, where during his career he was Senior VP, COO and CFO. He was also COO of NewStar Communications, Dallas TX and CFO and COO at other start-ups, including, Distributed Media Corporation and of New York and Bermuda. He is a strategic and results oriented leader with strong vision, passion and energy to tackle unique challenges and convert opportunity into results. He has managed sharply accelerating growth by building and leading high performance winning teams across functional and business areas and significantly improved profitability.  He has a proven track record of creating shareholder value with strong P & L and Operating experience

Ken Has an MBA from Temple University Fox School of Business and is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel and during his service in the US Army Ken was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Vietnamese Honor Medal.

Thomas Homola

Thomas E. Homola has a background of senior and consulting IT and Operations leadership roles within a number of startup companies. Mr. Homola was the founder of the Hospital Broadcast Network, a advertising media network in the healthcare industry. Prior to HBN he was the CIO and VP of Operations for, a media network within music and bookstores. Mr. Homola developed the infrastructure and staff for both these companies from the bottom up. Mr. Homola was the CTO for EDIUSA a Medical Claims Clearinghouse owned by Blue Cross /BlueShield and EDS. As the senior technologist for Applied Information for Marketing, Homola develop all aspects of a this startup company that rapidly grew and was purchased by Marketing Management Analytics (MMA). Prior Mr. Homola had founded two software development consultancies specialized in banking and brokerage software. Mr. Homola is a graduate of Marist College.
